These conditions govern every use of Henry County Criminal History. Visiting a page, reading its content, or submitting a query indicates acceptance of the full terms below. If you do not agree, do not continue to use the site.

NO FCRA USE. Henry County Criminal History is privately operated and has no government affiliation. This site and its advertising partners do not provide a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) decisions. The site is a reference to criminal-record resources in Henry County, Iowa. It is neither a private investigation business nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no connection to a government agency. It cannot retrieve official records, perform official checks, submit filings, or store the government's criminal-record files.

Its purpose is to identify the Henry County Sheriff's Office, Iowa District Court, Iowa DCI, Iowa Sex Offender Registry, and other custodians that hold particular records. Some pages also connect visitors to independently operated search tools.

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No information found here or through a linked service may be used to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate. The restriction is especially important for Iowa Sex Offender Registry information under Iowa Code chapter 692A. Registry publication supports lawful public-safety awareness. It does not authorize vigilantism, threats, retaliation, or discriminatory action.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Henry County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Neither the site nor its advertising partners create consumer reports or provide a service designed for applicant, rental, insurance, or credit screening. You may not use site or linked-tool information to:

  • Carry out any other activity governed by the FCRA
  • Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or public benefit
  • Set an insurance premium or evaluate credit
  • Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
  • Make an employment decision

A legally permissible official check should be obtained through Iowa DCI or a qualified FCRA-compliant provider, as the applicable law requires.

14. Severability

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language is modified only to the extent needed for enforcement.
